1. COMMENTS
This script is working in the LSP projects WinXPE

2. INTERFACE
Bilingual: English / German
3. REQUIREMENTS
This script requires LiveSystem pro v.1.0.5.0 or higher.
4. INSTALLATION
The script will load the chosen version of PENetwork to %AppsDir%\PENetwork
and extracts the downloaded files to %ScriptDir%\PENetwork
4.1. PENetwork Settings:
these settings are enabled by default:
- PENetwork Autostart
- Show Connection Activity in Taskbar
- Startup Countdown (sec)
- Debug Mode
4.2. PENetwork Configuration:
4.2.1 Auto Configuration (Default)
This setting will suite for most
systems as PENetwork detects automatically the network card and the attached MACAddress.
WLAN is activated by default, to
detect your WLAN device integration of drivers into your build is necessary
(4-Drivers.srt, not in WinXPE).
In some special issues (sometimes
on Windows 8_x64) it might be necessary to use custom settings.
4.2.2 Custom settings:
Start of Profile-Editor and WLAN-Editor is only possible enabling this checkbox.
4.2.2.1 Profile Editor
- Download of
PENetwork will take place opening this editor at the very first time
- The Profile Editor will start only in English
- Config File:
shows INI file penetwork.ini.
Creation of own INI file will be possible always.
- Network Profile:
Selection of
Dynamic or Static IP Address
- Network Adapter:
Available only if Network Profile has been chosen.

adapters available all together.
All
entries will be stored to LSP using the button Save.
Please
note that PENetwork always starts with Network Adapter #1 (changes in a booted WindowsPE are only
possible using in script interface Start from RAM).

additional informations in script interface (button INI-Info)
4.2.2.2 WLAN Editor
- Download of
PENetwork will take place opening this editor (provided that the Profile Editor has not been opened earlier)
- The WLAN Editor
will start only in English
- An existing
Network Adapter will be detected automatically
- Adapter settings will be
stored as XML file to any directory using the button Export.
Best way is to
copy this file to predefined directory %BaseDir%\Temp\PENetwork\WLAN.
- Integrate the
driver of your WLAN Adapter to your build.
- You will find
additional informations in script interface (button WLAN-Info).
All chosen settings will be applied by PENetwork as
well as by the script.
